When we moved in 5 years ago, the laundry tub looked pretty good. Fiber board, but it had a door and an actual cabinet. By putting in a huge washer, the water that discharged was too much for that tub. Water regularly overflowed. The fiberboard swelled. It got yucky and I tore the door off figuring if I started the demo, Daddy would have to fix it. It took a few years. By now we have finished an unprecedented number of fixes!
Tearing out the old one was trickier than we thought. Some of it came out easily but we needed the Dremel to get the rest off, especially around the plumbing.
The new one is BIG enough, and clean and white. We took off quite a bit of drywall removing the old that we had to to put FRP board up and it looks so nice!
